The System Administrator will provide a first-line level of support to resolve issues related to software support, maintenance, patching, scans, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
- Review artifacts such as container scans, updated version and port information, and any Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance changes
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and support
- Utilize knowledge of Linux OS and command line to review and provide information to customer leads and vendors
- Utilize knowledge of virtualization and VMWare’s administration interface to support the current system
- Perform regular log, storage, and other operations and compliance activities directed by the customer
- Perform routine IT tasks of varying complexity may be assigned at team discretion.
- Assist with system outages (i.e., complete system failure and significant and/or moderate degradations that inhibit business processes
- Respond to security and/or cybersecurity incident activities as directed
Salary range- 90-120k
