Opportunity

IMG is looking for a Laptop Administrator to perform duties associated with the management of a Windows PC/Server and virtualization environments as outlined below. In general, these duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Patching and updates of the Operating System and software installed on PCs and/or servers to ensure compliance with vulnerability management policy
  • Daily IT system monitoring and operational support
  • Administration of Group Policy
  • Application of appropriate security settings based on government and vendor requirements
  • Configuration and management of system BIOS/UEFI
  • Specification and testing of computer hardware – Personal computers, laptops, tablets, servers, computer peripherals etc.
  • Creation, deployment, and maintenance of computer images for physical computers or virtual machine master images
  • Work with the user community to resolve problems
  • Assist with management and configuration of enterprise applications (e.g., Exchange, Skype, SharePoint, Tenable, O365)
  • Support of applications on personal computers as needed
  • Review hardware and software for use on IT supported networks
  • Support of virtual server infrastructure
  • Support of virtual desktop infrastructure and management of zero and thin clients in Citrix and VMWare environments
  • Support of client/server infrastructure solutions (e.g., disk encryption, peripheral management)
  • Support and use of security applications on IT managed networks (e.g., vulnerability management, system configuration maintenance)
  • Creating software packages for locally and virtually installed software, troubleshooting, and patching
  • Troubleshooting local desktop issues and its variability of locally installed software
  • Perform asset management activities such as removing inactive devices, developing additional reports, and managing additional inventories.
  • Deploy endpoint devices to the organization.

Salary: 65-85K

Qualifications

Clearance Required: DOD Top Secret or DOE Q required prior to consideration

 

Education/Years of Experience:

  • A Bachelors degree in related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience OR a high school diploma and six (6) years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated record of providing strong customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical solutions on IT infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize assigned work tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and resolve complicated technical problems
