    IMG – provides information technology (IT), information assurance (IA), and visual communication services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time Photographeat its St. Louis, MO location.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    Photographer Duties:

    • Coordinating and directing the execution of creative photographic assignments for advertising, news, publicity, and/or technical use
    • Photographing activities and events such as award ceremonies, a variety of civilian and military ceremonies, aerial photography, portraitures, products, and special events
    • Photographing high-level events and dignitary visits to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
    • Reviewing work for soundness of judgment and overall quality and efficiency
    • Lead development, planning, and organization of the overall technical photographic aspects of assignments in collaboration with officials who are responsible for project substance to meet new and unprecedented situations
    • Plan and organize the overall technical photographic coverage for a variety of events and developments
    • Improvise photographic methods and techniques, select and alter secondary photographic features (e.g. scenes, backgrounds, colors, lighting)
    • Use imagination and creative ability to implement National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) objectives within the capabilities and limitations of cameras and equipment, exercise limited control over the substance of events to be photographed by staging actions, suggest behavior of the principals, and rehearse activities before photographs are taken
    • Photography complies with policies for Department of Defense (DoD) civilians, Defense Intelligence Senior Level, Senior Executive Service, and military staff
    • Ensure proper caption writing techniques for all photographs
    • Ensure proper meta tagging and captions when uploading to the photo repository

    Print Specialist Duties:

    • Produce printing using Canon Image Press digital presses, which includes prepress, in line folding, punching, and binding
    • Postproduction operations include, perfect binding, cutting, folding, and various binding options using Heidelberg family of postproduction machines
    • Maintain quality control records for all copiers
    • Order and restock paper, toner, and other copier supplies to support the mission
    • Provide additional Copy Center support when needed
    • Routine maintenance and repair-toner, calibration, blades, etc.
    • Maintain efficient digital work flow
    • The Print Specialist duties require at least 50% of your work time, while the remainder should be spent on Photography



    Qualifications

     

    • Experience with Nikon Digital Camera Systems
    • Experience with Canon copiers
    • Experience with post production equipment to include: cutting, folding, and spiral binding

     

    Clearance Required: TS/SCI (Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information) required prior to consideration.               

     

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Photography preferred

     

    Years of Experience: None required
