    IMG – provides information technology (IT), information assurance (IA), and visual communication services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time Computer User Support Specialist (Help Desk Technician) at its Malmstrom AFB, Montana location to support our customers Help Desk Operations.


    • Provide on-site computer helpdesk and administrative support services located at Malmstrom AFB Montana.
    • The computer helpdesk duties include: receiving all internal employee requests for assistance (i.e., web based helpdesk, phone calls, email, and walk-in visits) and inquiries regarding problems associated with workstation operating systems and approved versions of the Air Force Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) Desktop Configuration along with all installed applications and tools.
    • The helpdesk maintains, supports, troubleshoots, installs, patches, upgrades, workstations, functional systems, medical and specialized software and all associated peripherals and information system (IS) based medical equipment.
    • This includes but not limited to: providing first contact support and initial troubleshooting for customer specific functional systems.
    • Kiosk and announcement systems; Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), and other installed systems and software as prescribed by DHA, higher HQ and local requirements.
    • The helpdesk supports and troubleshoots government and commercial TCP/IP networks, telephony, Voice over IP (VOIP), cable television systems and analog equipment used and/or owned by the MTF. The computer helpdesk will act as the central point of contact for requests made through the systems flight.
    • The computer helpdesk will record encounters and requests in the MTF specific web-based helpdesk and/or applicable work ticket tracking application. The computer helpdesk will perform all helpdesk duties described above.
    • The computer helpdesk will work as part of a professional IS team and will work cooperatively with internal and external customers, support agencies, vendors, contractors, commanders, supervisors, managers, and higher HQ when required. The computer helpdesk will track and work every project, problem, issue or concern to completion or will forward work to another technician or support agency as appropriate.
    • Provide customer service; 
    • Telephone etiquette; 
    • strong organizational background;
    • experience providing support in a Windows Service Desk environment.
    • prefer experience in health care.


    Education: High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency. Completion of an IT training program is required.

    Training: Completed and maintained Basic Life Support Training is required prior to employment start date and will be maintained by the employee at no additional cost to the Government.

    Experience: 2 years of IT Help Desk Experience.

    Certification: Must be able to obtain a Security+ce certification.

    Clearance: Must successfully complete a background investigation.
