    Information Management Group, Inc. has provided continuous IT support to the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) since 1997 and is currently priming the TROJAN Network Operations (NetOps) contract. TROJAN allows for reach-back communications to national and joint intelligence information to provide access to Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) analysis, imagery exploitation, science and technology intelligence production. IMG provides direct network and systems Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to ensure connectivity for the TROJAN user community, including system maintenance and repair support; system operations support; configuration management support; and Communications Security (COMSEC) and circuit management support.


    IMG - founded in 1987 - provides information technology (IT) and information assurance (IA) services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time Senior Network Analyst/Senior System Administrator with TS/SCI in Alexandria, VA.


    The purpose of the Senior System Administrator is to perform as Senior technical expert for MS applications, design, development and management.

    • Accountable for all aspects of MS Windows requirements and manages the hands-on, day-to-day issues related to MS Windows
    • Responsible for providing support to Windows Operating Systems and Servers (e.g. Windows 7, Windows Server 2008R2, AD, DNS, Exchange, etc.) or designated replacements for the operating systems or software.
    • Responsible for building and maintaining server and workstation baseline images for multiple security enclaves, travel, stand-alone networks and single purpose devices (i.e. Virus Scanners and Data Transfers). Responsible for building and maintaining software sanctuary and deployment packages using SCCM. Senior technical expert for all VMWare systems/servers on all networks.
    • Responsible for server virtualization administration and maintenance for virtual environments.
    • Provides problem resolution for the supported infrastructure in sanctuary, deployment or exercises.
    • Provides design and implementation for all aspects of the virtualization infrastructure development life cycle.
    • Active Directory (AD) network and security administration and maintenance for all domain controllers and member servers and select workstations.
    • Responsible for authenticating and authorizing all users and computers within a network of Windows domain type, assigning and enforcing security policies for all computers in a network and installing or updating software on network computers.
    • The contractor shall ensure that the Enterprise services and servers remain operational. This effort will include using various methods and tools to monitor AD services.
    • Contractor shall administer operations, activities, services of the Army Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) and WAN Enterprise AD environment, and provide support for systems administration, troubleshooting, scripting, and security administration of the AD environment
    • Perform all duties in a consistent manner to meet or exceed the stated Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) for each Performance Objective as stated in the Performance Requirement Summary (PRS). 



    Required Skills/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in technology related field required and Eight years’ MS Systems Administration or if no degree, twelve years’ MS Systems Administration.
    • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 or MCITP Server Administrator 2008,
    • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for Win 7 Configuration, Windows Server 2008R2 Active Directory Configuration, and Windows Server 2008 Application Infrastructure.
    • 3-5 years’ VMware VSphere Administration.
    • CISSP certification preferred.
    • Sec+ce required.


    • MCITP or MCSA or MCSE; Sec+ce

    Clearance Required: TS/SCI (Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information) required prior to consideration.    


    Certifications Required: DOD 8570.01M Compliance Required Prior to Consideration.

     IAT-II (Security+ce)  and an approved Computing Environment Certification as specified.


    Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in technology related field required and Eight years’ MS Systems Administration or if no degree, twelve years’ MS Systems Administration.
