IMG – provides information technology (IT), information assurance (IA), and visual communication services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist at its 4050 Legato Rd Ste 200 Fairfax, VA 22033 location.


The purpose of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to support Information Management Group Inc.’s Talent Acquisition efforts by engaging with the Information Technology market, targeting prospective candidates and effectively communicating IMG’s employment brand while building relationships with prospective employees.



  • As Recruiting representative; assist in the development of Recruiting strategy.
  • Utilize LinkedIn networking to identify and connect with members of the technology community.
  • Have an ongoing conversation and presence building relationships with IMG’s candidate pool.
  • Understand all IMG’s business areas and provide recruiting support within all areas of responsibility.
  • Evaluate and screen potential hires, and assist them through the interview and hiring process.
  • Develop social media and event-based recruiting opportunities to identify applicants and secure referrals.
  • Facilitate recruitment outreach from defining skill needs to building the talent pool and hiring.
  • Document interactions, outreach, and screening results.
  • Exercise independent judgment regarding the technical and nontechnical competencies of prospective employees for Information Management Group, Inc. in order to make recommendations to management during the selection process.
  • Serve as IMG brand ambassador to prospective employees; communicate value proposition to prospective employees;
  • Assist the Recruiting team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Affirmative Action Plan;
  • Full life-cycle recruiting for high level technical positions for proposals;
  • Full life-cycle recruiting for high level technical positions for current and open positions;
  • Full life-cycle recruiting for non-technical corporate positions;
  • Work with internal and external customers to understand staffing needs and position requirements;
  • Source candidates and verify candidate information and qualifications;
  • Cold calling candidates to schedule phone screens, in person interviews, and technical interviews;
  • Make hiring recommendations to Hiring Managers based on evaluation of skill set against position requirements;
  • Conduct candidate interviews via phone and face to face;
  • May coach hiring managers on interviewing techniques;
  • Understand OFCCP and EEOC compliance guidelines;
  • Update and maintain the recruiting database;
  • Use ClearanceJobs; CareerBuilder; ClearedConnections; LinkedIn; and other resume databases.
  • Use iCIMS as an ATS to track candidates through the workflow.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Writing and posting job position descriptions;
  • Creating and maintaining reports for the Recruiting Manager;
  • Participating in Recruiting Department program audits;
  • Contribute to the constant process improvement of the Recruiting Department;




  • 2-4 years of Information Technology Recruiting experience with at least 1 year of Recruiting experience requiring candidates with government security clearances, preferably at the level of TS/SCI.
  • Candidate must enjoy interacting with people at all levels of the organization as well as forward facing to prospective employees and to business partnerships.
  • Candidate must have demonstrated experience exercising independent judgment regarding the technical and nontechnical competencies of a prospective employee.
  • The successful candidate must have advanced sourcing skills, and be capable of creatively seeking hard-to-find candidates.
  • The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and a desire to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience interviewing prospective candidates in person.
  • The successful candidate must have knowledge of applicable employment law and interviewing techniques.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently with general supervision.
  • Candidate must be organized.
  • Candidate must have a "whatever-it-takes" mentality.

Key Deliverables:

Successful performer must be able to identify, screen, hire, fully qualified and fully screened candidates to meet performance objectives of the department.
Clearance Required: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.                                          


Certifications Desired: HRCI PHR desired.


Education and Years of Experience Required: Bachelor Degree and at least 2 years of Information Technology Recruiting.
