IMG – provides information technology (IT), information assurance (IA), and visual communication services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time Technical Project Manager with Polygraph at its Annapolis Junction, MD location.


The Technical Project Manager is responsible for maintaining the technical refresh project plan, updating the Service Team Leads on a regular basis, and working with all applicable parties required to successfully complete the project requirements of the Technology Refresh life-cycle.


  • Management of 20-30 technicians responsible for removal of IT assets and installation of IT assets.
  • Management of resident staff; this project team will endure for the duration of the contract, estimated period of performance is 10 years. 
  • Oversight of 3-5 technical teams of 4-6 technicians. 
  • Detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Stakeholder briefings.
  • Process documentation and process improvement methodologies.
  • Vigilance regarding all security guidance.
  • Must provide direct supervision to technicians supporting the effort and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor’s contracts staff;
  • Review risk and risk mitigation activities and allocate budgets for the same;
  • Communicate issues and solutions in a timely manner; Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and budgets) on the effort;
  • Manage the activities of the project team;
  • Oversee the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of computer programs or end user applications;
  • Provide direction and mentoring to project team members; set the appropriate goals and objectives; Ensure the timely recruitment and training of project staff – both direct and indirect;
  • Ensure cross-discipline integration within the contract to meet Government needs; Coordinate the preparation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and value engineering proposals to the Government PM.


Clearance Required: TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph


Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer, Business or Math related field and at minimum two (2) years experience performing related job duties.

An Associate’s Degree and an additional seven (7) years may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.

Or nine (9) years of overall experience. 


Certifications Desired: CompTIA Security+ and Advanced Computing Environment certification.
