IMG – provides information technology (IT), information assurance (IA), and visual communication services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time Field Service Assistant with Top Secret Clearance at its West Milton, NY location in the Schenectady, NY metro area.


The purpose of the Field Service Assistant is to provide on-site IT support as needed to maintain service levels as required by the customer.


  • This position is considered entry-level. Training is provided.
  • The ideal candidate will have a current Top Secret clearance and a desire to learn skills in Information Technology. Our team of technicians have developed a career path that starts at the Field Service Assistant level and continues through Desktop Support/Systems Administration work.
  • IT support task areas include asset management; desktop device and peripheral maintenance; fax machine and repair (Idaho location only); deployment and installs, moves, adds, and changes of desktop devices and printers; support of servers and high performance computers; and disposal of equipment per customer specifications (including degaussing hard drives at Idaho location only).


  • Fully adjudicated DOD Top Secret  or DOE Q clearance prior to consideration.
  • 0-2 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs.

Clearance Required: TS (Top Secret) required prior to consideration.
